This is a new song, The Wrecking Crew, that I debuted at Grudge Match this past March 17th. Sorry I haven’t been around, recording mostly, doing shows here and there, trying to whittle away the Stupid and focus on the stuff that really matters.

Did you know you can download my album for free on my last.fm page? I always hear about people having last.fm pages but so far no real luck getting people to “friend” me and such. I guess it’s like flickr, do people really use it for anything other than looking at pictures and/or storing them? I guess it’s a bit much to expect the activity of listening to music on headphones while staring at a computer screen to have any social aspect.

I play in a band called Chink Floyd, “The world’s worst Pink Floyd cover band”. The band features yrs truly, Ariel Bitran, Mike Milazzo (absent from this particular gig), Killer Kelly Dwyer, and Touching You. The band is fronted, of course, by Master Lee. I work with Master Lee in a couple different improv/spoken word projects (The White Devils, The World’s Worst DOORS cover band, etc…) but this is probably my favorite. The Boardlords are bringing a bus of Connecticut’s most crazed punk rock fans to meld with the East Village’s most depraved citizens. This a free show. There will be a surprise performance after the Boardlords have had their way with the stage.

The Boardlords have been recording and performing for the past 8 years up and down the East and West Coast, at such venues as 2002 Summer X-Games in Philadelphia, Skatopia in Ohio, The U.S. Open of Snowboarding at Stratton, VT, and a brief tour of Northern and Southern California and Heavenly, Nevada as well. We have played at both the Winter X-Games back when it was at Mt. Snow in VT, and the summer , we also have played locally at CBGB’s, The Continental, Arlene’s Grocery and Trash Bar, as well as at The Westchester County Roller Girls season opener for 2008.

The Boardlords have performed with such acts as: Agent Orange, DI, McRAD, Big World, Gang Green, 76% Uncertain, Killing Time, Skatanic Rednecks, Valient Thor, and Sub-Zero to Name a Few.

Their 3 full length albums titled: “The Boardlords” “Ride Again” and “Wax Museum” have been licensed to MTV2 “HeadBanger’s Ball” and “Rob & Big” as well as Fusion TV.

ANYWAY– they have a new video every month that they debut at the show, and then they put it on youtube a few days later. Well it’s up on youtube!! Check it out if you’re into funny. This one features Katherine Heller as John’s crush… hilarious!

i finally got the full video (filmed in HD by Tim Warner), all 9.9 gigs of it, and have it, after nearly crashing my computer twice, snugly nestled on my hard drive. It looks incredible! Should have DVDs available by the end of the week. So please look at Nick’s video to whet your appetite!
