seriously though, read that fucking article. it’s hilarious, offensive, astonishing, and infuriating all at once. such complex emotions! But seriously, this woman that works for Jim McDermott got into an email flame war with someone that called her Liz. The person she is emailing with is profusely apologetic, to a fault, in fact. But Liz just sails off the deep end, apparently unaware that email is FOREVER…
So turns out it is fun to email her pretending you want to set up a meeting with Jim (meetingwithmcdermott@mail.house.gov) and call her Liz, or you can try this one Elizabeth.becton@mail.house.gov (though there are rumors that is no longer active). She hasn’t gotten back to me yet. Hrmph.
